• Asharqia Chamber and SABIC are launching a program "Nasna" with the participation of 15 specialized trainers in the industrial field

    10 professional trainers qualified to establish small and medium sized factories professionally

     

    On Sunday, January 20, 2019, the program "Nasna" will be started its first period with the participation of 15 trainers in the industrial field.

    The program will last for 3 months and will end on Wednesday, April 10.

     The program is organized by Asharqia Chamber in partnership with SABIC as part of the Chamber's efforts to support the young business sector that aims to help young investors to establish their small and medium industrial projects through a series of training programs that are completed by establishing factories for graduates of the program.

     

    The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stressed that the trainees will be trained by 10 professional trainers that are qualified and experienced in implementing professional training programs, as well as experts of the industrial investment environment in the Kingdom that have the ability to follow the graduates of the program and provide them with the necessary advice and guidance after the start of the project and during the work phase.

    Al-Khalidi stressed that the program will provide the trainees with the necessary technical and administrative skills and information.

    The program also covers the administrative, marketing, financial, legal and feasibility aspects, and each participant, who meets the requirements, obtains the certificate of passing the training period.

    The program aims to graduate 30 young people with the ability and efficiency to establish small and medium enterprises in an orderly and professional manners.

    Al-Khalidi pointed out that the program will provide multiple services during its meetings, during which it will review the establishment and financing services.

    He pointed out that the trainees at the end of the program will be given a professional certificate for the qualification of the industrial investor, as they will be eligible for support from SABIC's Nusaned program to build their own plant.

     

    Al-Khalidi explained that the Chamber is designed this program to qualify young people who wish to work in the industrial field in order to spread the culture of self-employment.

    He pointed out that the applicants of the program will undergo 200 hours of training.

     

    In early January, the Chamber and through a joint committee with SABIC held personal interviews with applicants to join the program that based on a number of criteria such as possessing the qualities of successful entrepreneur, scientific or professional knowledge in the field, practical experience in the field, strategic objectives of the project, knowledge of the need of the market impact of the project on the economy, the localization of products in addition to the project's compatibility with the directions of the Vision of the Kingdom 2030, and providing the project with job opportunities for Saudis, export opportunities, creativity and innovation, and financial aspects.

     

     

    It is worth mentioning that the Chamber held an introductory lecture that aimed at those wishing to start their industrial projects to provide them with the services provided by the program, explain the mechanism of participation and highlights the main themes of the program such as types of accounting and accounting records, the balance of the audit and the directory of accounts in small enterprises, financial indicators for measuring the profitability of projects, classification of assets and preparation of financial statements, in addition to legal aspects, licensing procedures and drafting contracts, procurement, marketing, sales and human resources systems.​
